The morning sun had barely touched the forest when little Leo opened his eyes. Usually, he was the first baby monkey to jump from branch to branch, chasing butterflies and exploring every corner of his world.
But today felt different.
Leo stayed curled against his mother’s side. His tiny arms wrapped tightly around her fur as if he was afraid to let go. Every movement seemed harder than before. Even lifting his head required effort.
