As the golden sunlight slowly faded behind the trees, little Jayden sat quietly on the cold ground, her tiny hands trembling with fear and confusion. The soft wind brushed through her thin fur while tears rolled slowly down her innocent face. She looked around desperately, hoping to see her mother returning soon, but the forest remained painfully silent.
