Deep inside the humid jungle after a long night of heavy rain, a tiny baby monkey clung tightly to his mother’s chest. His name was Kimo, a playful little monkey known for chasing butterflies, climbing crooked branches, and following his mother everywhere she went.
But this morning felt different.
The jungle floor had turned into thick brown mud. Every step squished loudly beneath the trees while cold rainwater dripped endlessly from giant leaves above. Kimo tried staying close to his protective mother, Maya, but he was curious like every young monkey. He wanted to explore.
